Field Testing in Hellhole

Background

Hellhole is being actively surveyed by the Germany Valley Karst Survey (GVKS) under contract to Greer Industries. The cave is NOT open to any caving outside of this contract. The cave recently passed the 22 mile mark, and is now the 20th longest cave in the country, and 81st in the world.

On July 23rd, 2005, several team members of the GVKS took the StenLight along on a mapping trip to help field test our adjustable swivel bracket. By all accounts, the testing went well. Here are a few photographs from the trip.
